Aftercare

Client’s aftercare plays a huge role for retention, please follow the below guidelines to ensure you’re properly caring for your lashes.

  • Do not wet your fresh lashes for 24 hours, that Includes sweating/crying. Stay clear from the gym, steam, & sauna etc while the bond is fully curing

  • Avoid rubbing, pulling, touching your extension/eyes, sleeping on your face or sides. Back sleeping is best. Silk pillowcases are recommended to prevent additional tugging/twisting of the extensions.

  • Do not use any oil base products on your eyes/extensions. Check your makeup remover. This includes moisturizer, eye cream, & sunscreens.

  • Do not use mascara or strip lashes on top of your extensions. This includes using a curler on them.

  • Squeaky clean lashes = better retention. It is recommended to wash them morning & night with your foam cleanser in addition to if you cry, sweat or get anything wet on them. Please use a gentle cleansing brush.

  • Only brush lashes when they are dried. Brushing when wet can cause excessive tugging. Air dry, pat dry with lint free paper towel, or blow dry on a cool setting. Once lashes are dried, brush gently till they fluff!

  • Avoid Qtips/Cotton, can get caught easily around the base. (Lint free ONLY)

  • Always keep your lashes clean as to prevent buildup of makeup/products, natural oils & “crusties/crystals” which are salty tears that harden around your lash line & extension base. A healthy cleaning regimen will prevent Blepharitis, which is an eye inflammation that can lead to lash growth abnormalities of your natural lashes.

  • Avoid getting make up such as foundation, concealer, & eyeshadow on your lashes. Be sure to wash them.

  • Be mindful around heat including BBQs, lighters, stoves & hair heating tools as heat can singe/crimp your lashes.

We all shed up to 5 lashes per day. Each individual client has a unique lash cycle & you may experience different last sheds between fills. Spring & Fall are seasons with the most aggressive sheds that can last up to 6 to 8 weeks. It is recommended to book in your fills accordingly.
